This Stout smells different than what you are accustomed to. It is dry hopped in the late stages of fermentation using the American noble varieties of Nugget , Centennial and Cascade, which allow the floral tones that make this a characteristic Stout - flavours of roasted malt give both lightness and freshness. The tongue senses both malt sweetness, hints of bitter dark chocolate and English liquorice. Sweetness, however, cleverly balances the hard roasted malt and the split, umalted and roasted barley, which both help to give beer its roasted flavor. 6.2% ABV.
