For over a decade, Daytrotter has shined a spotlight on up-and-coming bands by recording their work and giving them a stage to showcase their talents here in the Quad Cities. When Bent River Brewing Company agreed to brew a beer with Daytrotter, they wanted to shine the spotlight on some lesser known hop varieties. The Pale Horse is brewed with Azacca and Hull Melon hops, which lend flavors of strawberry and honeydew melon to this refreshing, easy drinking pale ale.
