We brewed this Imperial Stout with black caraway seeds before aging it in rye whiskey barrels. Aromas of dark chocolate, plums and molasses are complemented by herbaceous spiciness of caraway seeds. Flavors of licorice, treacle and light smokiness are rounded out by vanilla and woody notes from rye whiskey barrels, adding an additional alcohol spiciness and lively texture on the palate. 12.1% ABV.
