Fly Like an Eagle is our 6.2% cherry water ice inspired New-England style IPA with lactose and vanilla. Water (say "wooder") ice is a staple street snack in Philadelphia, and we've decided to craft a hazy, dank, fuzzed out beer in it's honor. To achieve this lofty goal, we start with a base of half American malted barley and half British rolled oats to create a creamy foundation, and add Calypso and Columbus hops in the kettle. In the fermenter, we then throw in a ridiculous amount of sweet and tart cherry puree, Madagascar vanilla beans, and Cascade & Citra hops. 6.2% ABV.
