This beer is quite awesome and unique, because it was designed specifically for aging in super-special Spanish brandy barrels!!  We were very happy to get these barrels - they have an intense, bright fruit character all their own, which gives EL FROGQUISTADOR an inviting nose of vanilla and apple to compliment the beer's light malt character, creating a lavish, satisfying, and complex palate. Aged 9 months in Spanish Brandy barrels, this beer is brighter, nuttier, and more complex than most other barrel aged beers, and has a freshness and vitality that is hard to imagine!  Alcohol is 9.0% by volume, and bitterness is very low at 8 IBU, which lets the rich, creamy fruit character of the Spanish brandy really shine!!
