What makes Nashi Asian Pear Beer so interesting is that it utilizes Subarashii Kudamono's sweetest and most flavorful Asian Pear and combines that with a learned knowledge of working with beer and ciders that is continually evolving by The Other Farm Brewery & Frecon's Cidery. The base beer that was used as part of the blend is from our Witwater Ale, which is a Belgian Witbier styled in medieval tradition. This means it uses a very minimal use of hops combined with our own Gruit recipe. Our Gruit recipe is a mix of Pennsylvania grown botanicals. The result is a nice light and smooth ale, light in body but with a nice smooth feel on the pallet that comes from the Pear combination.
