Barrel fermented & aged in French oak wine barrels for 10 months with Maraschino cherries, caramelized pineapple, orange peel, toasted pecans, treacle, maple syrup & spiced rum soaked oak chips added. The second in our annual Poinsettia Holiday Ale series, 2016 is inspired by a traditional holiday favorite, the fruit cake. Rich in fruits, nuts, liqueur and spice, the cake improves with age, much like this beautifully balanced and delicious holiday ale. 6.5% ABV.
