Spring couldn’t get here fast enough this year, and summer will be here before we know it. Green decorates the landscape across Central PA; the tall grass and lofty tree branches sway in unison to the crisp breeze of late spring. With this overload of green on our collective Tröegs brain, it seems like a fitting opportunity to release another excessively hopped Double IPA packed with some of our favorite sticky, jade-colored cones. Featuring an assortment of vibrant American hops, Scratch #195 radiates shades of spicy grapefruit rind, juicy passion fruit, pungent pine sap, and soft earthy herbs. Although this beauty exhibits a lovely golden, orange-tinted hue, green may very well be the color of its kind. 9.7% ABV.
