Renowned for their Belgian farmhouse ales, good friends Phil Markowski and Belgian brewer Yvan De Baets teamed up to make this Double Grisette. This beer has the malted wheat base and generous hopping of this bygone Belgian style but adds a twist: two different yeast strains were used, a wild yeast from Connecticut and a traditional saison yeast from Belgium. The result is a dry, fruity and aromatic farmhouse ale with genuine Belgo-American pedigree. 6.5% ABV.
