ç Back to Breweries Sly Fox

Origin:
  • We teamed up with our lager-lovin’ brethren from 2SP Brewing Co. to create a crisp, cold brew that’ll get the job done. A steadfast combination of classic noble hops in the brew kettle and a trio of newer German varieties added during the lagering process brings forth a flavor profile checkered with fruity, floral, and spicy notes. Don’t race past this hoppy lager that is sure to massacre your thirst.

  • Grisette is a a Belgian farmhouse ale which was originally brewed in the Hainaut Province to be the beer of the miners in the area, just as Saison was the beer of the farmers. It was lighter than saison and frequently contained wheat as well as barley malt (as does the Sly Fox version). The name is derived from the French word for grey, referring to the young women (the grisettes) who doled out pints as the men exited from the mines while still dressed in their grey factory frocks. The style is nearly extinct and will be an interesting addition to the adventuresome and ever-growing Sly Fox portfolio.5.6% ABV.

  • Irish-style Draft Stout, brewed with imported British Pale and Roasted Barley, plus Flaked Barley, and hopped with Cascade and Target hops. Black in color, light bodied and roasty dry.

  • This is an English sweet stout brewed with English pale, caramel, and chocolate malts. All English hops were used: Target for bittering and a small East Kent Goldings addition for aroma. 50 lbs. of flaked oats were added to the mash giving this full-bodied beer its silky texture, smooth taste and delicate finish. 6% ABV.

  • A golden, hop-forward American Pale Ale and a salute to the beautiful Schuylkill River Trail. A portion of the proceeds of SRT Ale benefits the Schuylkill River Trail through the Schuylkill River Heritage Area. 4.6% ABV.
