We’re calling this one a Farmhouse Dunkel, because why not? We took the Farmhouse/Lager yeast blend from our smoky BDG collab with Sacred Vice Brewing and let it do its thing with a dunkel malt bill, and fermented it at moderate temps for both of those strains. The result? A really fun mash-up of two great styles. A delightfully velvety bittersweet cocoa trip down the toasted lazy River, catching the star anise mist from the nearby spiced waterfall. Clean and crisp on the finish from the smooth lager fermentation yet perfectly dry from the saison yeast. 5.7% abv
